Ive begun the prep work on the fireplace. Ive torn out all of the old stone this week, so I can pick up some space on the hearth. Ill be framing in a new wall in front of the existing, because there are some issues with the current wall thats there. Ive visqueened off the area to protect the rest of the house from dust, and put osb over the existing hardwood floors to temporarily protect them as well.
Next week, Ill be framing in the new wall, and hopefully will do some wiring for the wall sconces and tv accomodations.
