Wooden spoon continued

Hi Everyone,
Well, I was planning an outing today on my bicycle but it is raining hard and it has turned cooler so Im inside today.
So I decided to go down to the wood shop and work on the spoon and Ive basically finished the handle:

Now for the hard part: the bowl of the spoon. I have a set of hook knives and you can see them in the photograph but I dont have the hand strength to use them.  So Im going to have to figure that out pronto. I have two options: carving it out with a gouge or purchasing a Dremel tool and cutting it out with a sharp burr.
Im going to have some lunch and go back down and figure this out.
